About me

My name is Jessica Rose Shields. I am a designer and artist born and raised in Hawaii, on the beautiful islands of Kauai and Maui, now living on the North Shore of Oahu. I have always had a passion for art and design and have been creating art from a young age. It felt only natural that in college I continue to follow my passion by studying graphic design and studio art making me not only an experienced designer but a well rounded artist in many other types of media. In 2011, I received a Bachelors Degree from University of Hawaii at Manoa, majoring in Art with a focus on graphic design & digital media. My natural love for design and art continues to guide my career here in Hawaii and beyond!

In my work my goal is to create memorable and clear designs, websites, identities, rich illustrations, and high quality prints for the many types of businesses and personalities I will encounter. I create my designs and art with expressive yet readable typography,  thoughtful color palettes, great attention to detail and most importantly clear communication.
